Expansion in Europe Continues with New 67,000-Square-Meter Facility

Warsaw, Poland – November 27, 2019 – Amazon today confirmed its plans for a 67,000-square-meter fulfillment center in Kolbaskowo, Poland. The new facility will be Amazon's largest fulfillment center in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. It will provide storage, shipping, and delivery services to Amazon customers in Poland and across Europe.

The new fulfillment center is part of Amazon's ongoing investment in its European fulfillment network. Amazon has been rapidly expanding its fulfillment capacity in Europe in recent years to meet the growing demand for its products and services. The company currently operates more than 50 fulfillment centers in Europe, with plans to open even more in the coming years.

The Kolbaskowo fulfillment center is expected to create hundreds of new jobs in the local area. Amazon is actively hiring for a variety of positions at the new facility, including warehouse associates, transportation associates, and customer service associates.
